Arosa is attractive, sunny and the perfect place for a family excursion.
There are 55 individual pistes, catering best for beginners and intermediates. Expert skiers are best advised skiing down the steep slopes of the Weisserhorn mountain. Tschuggen, a lower peak, holds a well-developed snowboarding area called 'Snow Drop' which includes one of Europe's largest half-pipes.
In the evenings Arosa has enough bars and restaurants to keep skiers occupied without ever becoming as swarming with partiers as other resorts.
