For those looking for a quiet few days away in the French Alps, Aussois is the ideal destination.

Smaller than most resorts, Aussois only has twenty-one individual pistes of its own, serviced by eleven ski lifts. Its strength as a resort comes from its location.

While its closest airport is Chambéry it is also just a short drive away from Turin and Grenoble, while even Lyon and Geneva are not too far away. And from an aesthetic viewpoint, it is within the beautiful Maurienne Valley which winds through Savoy.
