You don't even have to leave the country to go skiing.

Cairn Gorm is in the Scottish Highlands and provides an experience akin to a smaller Alpine resort. The resort is just a short bus ride from Aviemore Railways station, to which there is a direct service from King's Cross (7.5 hours).

Cairn Gorm has 39 slopes, covering 30km, and caters for all standards of skiers. There is also a well maintained snowboard fun park, and a good snow school. There is also a special needs school run by Disability Snowsport UK.
