Connected to Gressoney and Alagna by ski-lift, Champoluc is a one of the major constituent resorts of the Monterosa ski area.

This area, while smaller than France's largest resort combinations, still provides 64 individual pistes and huge swathes of free-riding terrain perfect for snowboarders.

Champoluc is a quiet town with a nice unspoilt feel. There is evening entertainment, but it is not so raucous as to make this an inappropriate family destination.
