So famous for the annual World Economic Forum, one can easily forget that Davos is Switzerland's largest ski resort.
It has 110 individual pistes spread across five or six large skiing areas and provides for all interests and abilities. The experts can test themselves on the treacherous runs down Gotschnagrat while the beginners learn on Pischa.
Snowboarding is taken very seriously, too: there are three snowboarding school and four fun parks, largely concentrated on Jakobshorn. Naturally for such an important location it is well equipped with shops, bars and restaurants.
