Engelberg's central attraction is the glacier on Mount Titlis, which provides for a precipitous but enthralling descent for the advanced skiers.
Intermediate skiers will also find long runs to interest them, but it is not a very good resort for the beginners. Engelberg annually hosts a round of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup.
Snowboarding is good though: the Jochpass area has a large boardpark and a quarter pipe. Evening entertainment is above average by Swiss standards.
