Kaprun - Resort Guide

Kaprun - Austria

Another Austrian resort with an emphasis on snowboarding. Kaprun is a village sufficiently close to Salzburg (less than two hours' drive) to be a good candidate for a weekend away. Most people staying in Kaprun choose to ski on the Kitzsteinhorn mountain, whose glaciers allow all year round skiing.

This is most often taken up by snowboarders: Kaprun hosts regular snowboard tournaments, and is used as a training camp by many professionals.

Snow Conditions - Kaprun

We're in the process of putting together snow reports and forecasts for the resort, so check back again soon for updates. In the meantime, these snow cams should give an idea of ski conditions in Kaprun at the moment.
