Les Gets - France

Despite being another of the Portes du Soleil resorts – along with Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Crosets – Les Gets still provides an impressive amount of skiing in its own right. Within the resort skiers have two options: Mont Cheri, a favourite of snowboarders, and the Chavannes Bowl, which has more opportunities for expert skiers.

For those less interested in skiing, Les Gets has more to offer than most: a museum of Mechanical Music (with an annual festival) and a museum of skiing .
