Founded by a British Colonel in 1938, Méribel is one of the many French resorts which revels in its role in the Les Trois Vallées complex.
In sharing with La Tania, Brides-les-Bains, Courchevel and others, Méribel has access to over 500 individual pistes covering over 600km. This breadth allows for a variety in terrain and conditions which means that everyone is catered for.
Méribel is so popular that it has spawned an overflow resort: Méribel Mottaret, an offshoot of apartments for excess tourists.
