Obergurgl - Austria

Quiet, traditional, picturesque and family friendly – Obergurgl is the perfect haven for those skiers who fear that the Austrian Alps have turned into Magaluf with mountains. Located in the Ötztal Alps, with stunning views of the Dolomites, Obergurgl is one of the smaller resorts with only 39 runs of its own.

This is off-set though by the extensive off-piste opportunities for the more serious skier. Unlike many of the Austrian resorts, in the evenings at Obergurgl visitors can enjoy the calm and serenity of this high-altitude hideaway.
