Pra Loup - France
While most French Alpine resorts are found in the Rhône-Alpes, in Savoie, Pra Loup carries the flag for those further south. Pra Loup is in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, just 55 miles (90 kilometres) north of Nice. This separation from the crowd of French resorts means that skiing at Pra Loup is less busy and more relaxed than at the bigger venues.
The uncluttered pistes, as well as the numerous beginners' slopes and helpful ski-school make this a perfect resort for families.
