Not all French resorts are in the Alps: Saint-Lary-Soulan is found in the Pyrenees, just minutes from the Spanish border. It provides 53 pistes of its own, spread over three separate sectors divided by height. They total 100km in downhill slopes, and all ability groups can enjoy the resort.
Snowboarding is also taken seriously at Saint-Lary-Soulan: the award-winning Quicksilver Snowpark is popular with amateur and professional snowboarders alike.
