Sauze d'Oulx - Resort Guide

Sauze d'Oulx - Italy

Sauze d'Oulx claims to be the birthplace of Italian skiing. While it may have since fallen behind other resorts in terms of challenging terrain, it offers enough pistes to keep the intermediate quite busy. It is part of the Via Lattea region – which extends to Montgenèvre in France and offers almost 600 pistes.

Sauze d'Oulx stands out among the Italian resorts in its embrace the sort of lively après ski scene which is much more common in Austria. The bars and clubs may not be quite on the St Anton or Ischgl level but they are still enough to maintain a young clientele.
