Stowe - USA

A resort which makes the most of the picturebook New England mountain scenery, Stowe is a luxurious holiday destination whose appeals goes beyond the slopes. The recently built Stowe Mountain Lodge provides a level of comfort and relaxation far beyond most such facilities; with its own Spa and Wellness Center, its valet service, private balconies for each room and so forth.

And with 485 skiable acres the slopes at Stowe are also very good. The facilities on the slopes, the snowmaking and the skilifts, are as modern and well maintained as those in the village.
