The Remarkables - New Zealand
The striking name of a whole range of mountains, The Remarkables provide wonderful views and skiing opportunities. Beginners and snowboarders are best catered for; boarders will delight in the new 'Stash': snow park.
There are other attractions too: the mountains surround the beautiful Lake Wakatipu, with obvious aesthetic benefits. And the very popular Skiwiland Early Learning Centre will look after children between the ages of three months and five years.
