Val d'Isère - Resort Guide
Val d'Isère - France
Like neighbouring Tignes, Val d'Isère is a resort which has everything: excellent skiing, snowboarding and après-ski. Sharing the Espace Killy with Tignes, there is so many options and opportunities for skiers that you can never get bored. The very best will revel in Val d'Isère's pedigree for world class competitive skiing: it hosted the Men's Downhill in the 1992 Winter Olympics and was the host city of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championship in February 2009.
All this, and a raucous après-ski scene makes for a lively resort. Beware though, it is already rather popular with the British.
