Val Thorens is the highest resort in Europe, and one of the most popular.
It provides access to the expansive Trois Vallées region, which gives skiers the chance to choose between more skiing and snowboarding options than they could ever need.
Val Thorens itself, thanks to its height and the Glacier de Péclet, has year round snow. The convenience does not stop there; the pistes are close enough to the town to provide real ski to door accessibility. For these reasons Val Thorens is very popular with tourists, not just British but Dutch and German too.
